Sacreste di Laboratorio olfattivo è una fragranza del 2018 considerata autunnale, io invece la consiglio anche per l'estate. L'incenso è il protagonista assoluto in tutte le sue forme, dalla resina al filo di fumo ma si tratta di sensazioni legate all'incenso liturgico più che ad atmosfere orientali. La creazione è di Luca Maffei che, anche in questo caso, ha saputo conciliare il senso di freschezza con quello di tepore rassicurante. A me ricorda la frescura delle antiche chiese di pietra nelle quali trovare refrigerio dall'afa estiva. Un piccolo capolavoro che crea dipendenza.

Sacreste by Laboratorio olfattivo is a fragrance released in 2018 considered best suitable in autumn, anyway I recommend it for the summer. Incense is the absolute protagonist in all its forms, from resin to a thin thread of smoke. The sensations is that one related to liturgical incense rather than to oriental atmospheres.
The creation is by Luca Maffei who, as he always does, has been able to reconcile the sense of freshness with a reassuring sense of warmth. It reminds me of the cool air in ancient stone churches where to find refreshment from the summer heat. A small masterpiece that is addictive.

Musc invisible, una creazione must have di Juliette has a gun. Uscito nel 2020, è decollato nella primavera del 2021 proprio per le caratteristiche che lo rendono una sorta di skin scent discreto e adatto a tutte le situazioni dando il meglio di sé con l’arrivo del caldo. Un muschio talcato ma con l’apertura floreale del gelsomino sostenuta dal cuore di fiore di cotone. Soave, leggero ma persistente mai invasivo eppure presente, come un amico invisibile.

Musc invisible, a must have creation by Juliette has a gun. It was released in 2020 but found its way to our hearts in the spring of 2021 thanks to the characteristics that make it a kind of discreet skin scent suitable in all situations and giving the best with warmer temperatures.

A powdery musk with floral top notes of jasmine supported by the heart of cotton flower. Sweet, light but persistent, never protagonist yet present, like an invisible friend.

Esprit du Tigre di Heeley

Esprit du Tigre, una fragranza da alcuni definita esotica forse a causa del nome, di sicuro non viene pensata come estiva e invece io la trovo particolarmente energizzante in questo periodo. Non vi vengano in mente sentori animalici o avvolgenti, qui la parte del leone (cioè della tigre) la fa la canfora. Avete presente il balsamo di tigre? Ecco è proprio quello a cui ci si riferisce e, se si considera che fra le note di testa c’è anche la menta, la freschezza è assicurata. Nella piramide olfattiva compariranno anche spezie come il cardamomo e la cannella, il pepe nero e la noce moscata, un po’ di dolcezza arriva dal fondo di vetiver.

Si tratta di un Eau de Parfum ma la durata è media e la persistenza piuttosto timida, la qual cosa potrebbe anche essere un pregio. Non aspettatevi evoluzioni spettacolari nel tempo perché, da questo punto di vista, quello che percepiamo al primo momento è quello che resta. Ho provato anche altre fragranze di Heeley, ad esempio: Sel Marin, Rose Aria, Eau Sacrée. Hanno tutti la medesima caratteristica: si rivelano fin dal primo momento e non nascondono sorprese. Quindi se vi piacciono da subito andrete sul sicuro, se non vi piacciono lasciate perdere perché non ci saranno particolari cambiamenti o evoluzioni nel tempo. Eau Sacrée è uno di quelli che ho apprezzato maggiormente perché si tratta di un incenso molto interessante e che io percepisco come freddo. Ha nelle note di testa cisto labdano, olibano, muschio e il risultato è davvero molto gradevole ma si tratta di un estratto (come anche Rose Aria) e si posiziona in una fascia alta di prezzo. Vi garantisco che si possono trovare fragranze altrettanto affascinanti anche spendendo meno.

Esprit du Tigre is a fragrance often defined as exotic perhaps due to its name. It’s not considered a summer fragrance, anyway I perceive it particularly energizing in this period of the year.
Do you know tiger balm? This is exactly what it reminds us: camphor. And, if we consider that peppermint is among the top notes, freshness is guaranteed. Spices such as cardamom and cinnamon, black pepper and nutmeg will also appear in the olfactory pyramid, a little sweetness comes from the vetiver base.
Despite being an Eau de Parfum the duration is medium and the persistence rather timid, which could also be an advantage in some cases. Do not expect any particular evolutions over time because, from this point of view, what we perceive at the first moment is what remains on.
I’ve tried other Heeley fragrances: Sel Marin, Rose Aria, Eau Sacrée. They all have the same characteristics, they reveal themselves from the first moment and do not hide any surprises. So, if you like them immediately you will be on the safe side purchasing them. If you don't like them, change your mind. There will be no particular revelations or evolutions over time. Eau Sacrée is one of those I mostly appreciated because it is a very interesting incense and I perceive it as “cool”. It has in the top notes cistus labdanum, olibanum, musk and the result is very pleasant but it is an extract - as well as Rose Aria- so it is positioned in a high price range. I’m sure you could find equally fascinating fragrances even for less.
